Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Elowin Labs LLC (“we”) handles information when you use OldPhoto Repair. We collect as little as we reasonably can. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your photos to train models.

When you restore a photo, you send it to us so we can process it and return the result. Photos are used only to fulfill that request and are deleted when processing is complete. We do not keep your photos, publish them, share them, or use them for advertising. You retain all rights in the files you upload and in the restored files we return. Nothing is kept on your device after you leave the page.

We may collect:

• Photos you choose to upload, solely to process and return them.
• Technical information such as IP address, browser type, and general location, used to operate, secure, and prevent abuse of the service.
• An email address, only if you join a waiting list.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the service, including to apply fair-use limits. We do not use advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking cookies. Because these cookies are required for the site to function, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. See the Cookie Policy for more.

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand aggregate use of the site, such as page views. These tools do not use cookies, do not build a profile of you, do not track you across websites, and cannot see your photos.

We use the information above to provide the restoration you requested, keep the service reliable and fair, prevent fraud and abuse, screen content that violates our acceptable use rules, communicate with you about a waiting list you joined, and improve the site in aggregate.

We use service providers to host the site, process photos, protect against automated abuse, perform content screening, store waiting-list emails, and measure usage. They process information only as needed to provide those services to us, and only on our instructions.

Photos are deleted when processing is complete. Waiting-list emails are kept until you ask us to remove them or we discontinue the list. Technical records used to operate and protect the service are kept only as long as needed for those purposes.

OldPhoto Repair is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us an email address, contact us and we will delete it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold, or to object to how it is used. In practice we hold very little: we do not keep photos, we do not keep an account for you, and we keep an email address only if you volunteered one. Email us to make a request. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising. If you are in the EU or UK, you may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
